speedtest.net (tauranga test)
downloads not to bad for me, but with current settings my upload seems to cap around 65 KB/sec. can get up to about 90kb/sec but gain 10 - 20ms latency in doing so

your peformace will be due to either crappy copper leading up to your house or s***ty DSLAM performance
sometimes data routes through a DSLAM can favor a certin ISP hence differing peformance |
