In order to come to LANfest you must accept these rules:
The rules are in place to protect you, your equipment, and your enjoyment at the LAN
To be honest, they are common sense so we are sure you will have no problems!
All decisions made by LANfest Staff/Crew are final and no discussion will be entered into. By attending LANfest you agree to abide by these rules.
Usage of illegal drugs and alcohol is banned at LANfest. If found with alcohol it will be confiscated. If found twice you will be escorted off the premises. You will not be let into the event intoxicated or under the influence of illicit drugs.
Weapons are prohibited at LANfest. The definition of a weapon will be determined by LANfest Staff and includes firearms, knifes batons or ANY object used in a threatening manner. Possession or usage of such a weapon will result in being escorted off the premises.
Keep your porn to yourself, LANfest is a public event, we don't want to see it and neither would your parents.
Verbal/Physical abuse will not be tolerated at LANfest. Should a staff member judge a guest abusing staff/players they will be warned, after that you will be asked to leave.
LANfest or LANfest staff do not take responsibility for personal injury, accident or damage during the course of the event.
LANfest participants are not to compromise the security of the computer systems, whether our systems or others. If you are caught "compromising" the computer systems will forfeit their entry and will be asked to leave.
Speakers are not allowed at LANfest. If you are caught using them a staff member will confiscate them till the end of the event.
Extra monitors (dualview) are allowed but you must consult the Admin on entry.
All computers on the network need Internet Connection Sharing disabled or any form of DHCP server. This can cause effects with the network.
Cheating at LANfest is banned on official events. If caught cheating you will automatically disqualify yourself and your team/clan.
"Staff Only" Areas mean just that. Staff only.
Photos and Video maybe taken at the event. Footage will be used for any purpose as seen by LANfest.
We reserve the right to deny entry to any person, for any reason.
We reserve the right to change or amend these rules at anytime without prior notice. |
