Well in previous years it can be noted that competitions and general organisation during the event has been reasonably poor and we have gotten away with being a bit slack.
 
This year we aren't going completely formal and the event will still be just as causal apart from a few minor points that you must take note of.
 
Sign-in
In previous years we have been quite casual with seating. However this year we will need you to go through the Sign-in process and you will be assigned a seat. We will promise to honour the seating arrangements that you have requested on the Registeration page but due to network and power balancing we may have to seat you elsewhere.
 
Competitions will start exactly on time.
We will not restart, delay, or change the game times posted on the site due to an attendee not yet having the game ready, or not being ready themselves. The timetable has been released, and the only delay will be if there is an error on our part which causes you not being able to join the server for the 15 minute practice round.
 
Multi-boxes.
Attendees MUST bring their own multiboxes. They are allowed to use ONE port on the LANfest suppiled multibox at the table.
 
Barcode Tickets
Please please please try your best to bring your tickets to LANfest. This makes the process much easier for us, and quicker for you to get into gaming on the day. We can still however sign you in without your ticket, but there may be a delay in signing you in.
 
Projector Screen/Intranet
We will be providing a constant stream of information on the Projector Screen and the Intranet this year. We have a Tech Support ticketing system on the Intranet, so if you have any issues with connecting to the servers etc then one of us techs will come fix your problem when we are free. If the Intranet is not working, talk to the guy at the front desk.
New this year, is ordering Dinnertime Pizza-run over the intranet. You can place your order anytime before 4pm at the LAN and pay frontdesk.
