WTF are Gunny's legendary LAN's

I have been having lans at my home for years. However we need a few more Tauranga based Gamers to grow the numbers attending regularly as LAN's are a fun way to waste a weekend (evening usually) Basically a group of gamers on steam we invite (via steam chat ) so we can have 10+ actually turn up on the day.

Whats at the lans - we play quite a bit of

Team Fortress 2
Call of Duty 4
Left for Dead VS mode
Killing Floor
COD WaW Zombies mode .... (quite a lot of zombie games atm)

A little bit of
Battlefield 2 or 42 DC
UT 3
Flat out 2
Race Driver GRID

sometimes for a laugh
Quake 3 Arena
Crysis
CSS gun game

Also
DC++ LAN P2P
Gigabit LAN (sometimes)
internetz for steam updating
Shared Game patches etc
Dedicated Gaming servers

If your at all interested. Join the LANFEST steam group. If you want more info or ask to come to one (i.e get details like address) add tangleskites to steam friends (player name is Gunny) I will accept you. try to ask me in game or chat me soon after i accept you so i know why you got added please. I may remove you if you dont introduce yourself

Where. I am 3 minutes from Dominos/Burger Fuel/Subway, 2 minutes from Fraser Cove (close to Hospital). LANs have a sign at the road.

What we dont need at lans
 
Laptop Noobs
If you game you have a desktop.   Upgtadable , full graphics cards and big hard disks.
 
Speakers
They are not cool. annoying and retarded at a LAN
 
Voice Spam
Im in the fkn room with you. I dont need you screaming in the mic.
 
DrunkenTardation
Go drink, fall over and puke.  Fun for you,   Fun for me a LAN where we play games not drunken tards.  Thats for bars and 21st's
 
Leeeechers vs gamers
Gaming, playing games and gaming.  are why we are here.  files can be got later, never or from uncle torrence,  Not from my NIC while im playing and my ping goes crazy
